Day 4 - Fri 15 Nov: Phuket
Fine and sunny most of the day 25 to 32 deg, then a late afternoon tropical storm. Wish I could send it back home. Today the clan gather ready for the start of the bike tour tomorrow. It was great to see Baz, Simon, BJ, Kev, and Ken from previous tours and meet Osca (Dogan) and Sean for the first time. All except Kev (he was still on his way from Patong Beach) caught up over a very leisurely brekky and it wasn’t till the staff were setting up for lunch that we decided to move to the beach. I can sense that this is going to be a very relaxed tour. Some went swimming others went to change some money and others went for a wander. I went for a walk around the town and beach then back to my room. Not long after Kev turned up, so we went to locate the others. Found them at a eatery / drinking hole at the top of the beach.
