Day 7 - Mon 18 Nov: Krabi to Hat Yai

Fine and sunny 25 to 33 deg.

Ride: 50 km; total: 173km

Early brekky at the Heritage this morning at 6:30am for a 7:30am start. The breakfast this morning couldn’t have been better, especially compared to the rubbish they dished up yesterday.

It was an hour or so transfer in the bus before we could start riding today. None of us enjoy being on the bus but we couldn’t cover the kms we have to do on a bicycle.

A few good climbs today during which some of the bunch felt the heat. Just before lunch, we don’t have a clue how, but six guides managed to get three of our blokes lost. We were riding along, five of us (incl me) and the lead guide at the front, the rear guide and three of us were at the back. Our group stopped on a hill and waited. The result was that we waited for well over an hour and they didn’t turn up. Eventually reunited everyone and continued the ride to Hat Yai.
